Why Join the Book Club
- What do you do during the meetings?
- Connect with other parents to discuss the book while discussing both challenges and opportunities
- Go through the Family Playbook together and create personal action plans
- Get expert advice & feedback directly from Aubrey as you read the book and create your plan
- Who is this for?
- Parent groups of 2-5 who have read or are currently reading the book
- Format:
- Small Group meetings to create an opportunity to develop closer relationships for accountability.
- New sessions every quarter; each session has 6 meetings over 12 weeks (meets every other week with an opportunity to communicate with other parents between meetings for questions and accountability)
- Meetings will be recorded for those who can't attend at the designated time
- Additional meeting times will be added based on the number of sign-ups to keep groups small for more personal connections

Aubrey Schmalle, OTR/L, SIPT, is a nationally recognized occupational therapist and the creator of the Body Activated Learning frameworkTM. With over two decades of experience specializing in sensory integration, Aubrey has helped thousands of children and families bridge the gap between therapy and real life—empowering them to thrive in today’s fast-paced, digital world.
A passionate educator and sought-after speaker, Aubrey brings science-backed strategies and compassionate guidance to parents, educators, and professionals nationwide. Her work is grounded in neuroscience, yet always rooted in connection,
creativity, and the realities of daily family life. When she’s not working with clients or writing, Aubrey is a proud mom to a Gen Z teen and a devoted dog mom to Cooper, a mischievous poochon. She finds balance through movement, creativity, and her latest passion project—reviving a wild backyard garden, one bloom at a time.
